 Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Common Entrance Test which is also known as AGRICET 2017 notification will be announced soon by Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State  Council of Higher Education (APSCHE),Hyderabad . Applications are invited from Diploma Holders in Agriculture and Seed Technology from ANGRAU / PJTSAU for admission into four years B.Sc (Ag) Degree Programme  for the academic year 2017-2018. Eligible and Interested candidates may submitted their applications and related documents either in person or post to organizing university.

Registration Fee and Payment

The candidate may apply for admission in prescribed proforma along with Demand Draft (DD) for fee Rs 500/- for general (Rs 250/- for SC / ST / PH category) candidates drawn in favour of Comptroller,ANGARU, payable at Hyderabad

Eligibility For AP AGRICET 2017

Nationality and Domicile 

1. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.

2. Candidates should be belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh only and should satisfy local / non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh institutions or 1974 as subsequently amended.

Educational Qualifications

1.The candidates should have passed Two year Diploma in Agriculture / Seed Technology from ANGRAU / PGTSAU.

2. Those who are going to complete the Diploma requirements in 2016-2017 academic year can also apply for entrance test.

Age Limit 

Candidate should have completed 17 years age on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit 22 years for all the candidates ( 25 years for SC / ST and 27 years for PH candidates).

AP AGRICET 2017 Exam date and Time Schedule

3rd week / July / 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM        

Medium of Entrance test :

The question paper contains questions in "Telugu" & "English" medium.

Selection Process :

1. Merit in the entrance test.

2. Admission into any college depends on it recognition / affiliation by the statutory bodies.

3. Rule of reservation.

4. Reservation for under special category.

Qualifying Marks :

Qualifying percentage of marks in the entrance test is 25% (42 marks out of total 120 marks). However for candidates belonging to SC / ST " No" minimum qualifying percentage marks is prescribed.
